Hard to believe that cancer and AIDS hasn't been cured yet. Or at least AIDS, since there are so many varieties of cancer.
I hope to see some of these diseases cured in my lifetime, BEFORE I come down with them. Only time will tell, we can only hope and pray.
I hope your son recovers quickly. Think hard about borrowing or renting a trike to escort him around. I hope it works out for you. RD.

Carl,
I am really sorry to hear about your son. Him and the entire family will be in our prayers.
Someone mentioned renting a trike. That is a good idea or maybe you can fine a Harley with a side car so he doesn't miss the charity benefit ride honoring his sister. Hopefully the doc would let him go for a ride.

Cannot find the words to express what I feel for you at this moment. Will definitely keep him in our prayers. I admire the bond you have with your son. I envy you both. Should he not be up to riding for such a memorable event, perhaps you have a friend or could even check with your local HOG chapter for somebody with a side-car rig to make sure he has the opportunity to participate. I wish the very best for him and hope you'll take care of yourself so you'll be at your very best during his toughest times.
Take good care of each other.
