Finally got GPS - my mounting solution

I haven't wired it yet and don't think I will. The GPS sits right above the cig ligher in the fairing so I'm just using that for power. I couldn't justify the cost of a ZUMO either which is why I went with the NUVI. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the ZUMO but it has what I needed and it's waterproof. I got mine for about 220.00 delivered. It's smaller than the ZUMO but plenty easy to read when riding.

I have never used a GPS on my bike before last Sunday. I borrowed my wife's for a ride where I needed to get where I was going. I just used the suction cup and stuck it on the chrome lid over my gas cap. I don't know if it would stay there all day or not, but it stuck there fine for this ride.
I always crapped all over using a GPS on a bike, preferring to wander around using the grid method till I get where I am going. But I gotta admit it was a little nice knowing I was gonna make it where I was going on time.

I rarely use it when I'm going somewhere, I mostly use it to be able to get the hell out of where ever I end up at.
