Pin Problems Ideas
I put a set of gauges on my Heritage. I know but it will be a touring bike when it grows up.
I got the dual oil pressure sensor off a touring model. I know the plug is right And Supposedly the right pins.
Here lies the problem. I really am not sure they gave me the right pins.
The oil pressure sender is a 74438-99. It's a dual sender. The pins I got are 73191-96.
The pins don't want to stay in. If it wasn't for the little rubber weather boot and the clip that puts pressure against the boot, they will slide out with ease.
Now I've been doing this a long time. I just can't imagine anyone designing a mickey mouse setup like this. I am used to the click of the pin.
Could someone that has a late model FLH parts book look up the connector and pins?
