i also have the newer type of pro pipe you have on your bike. mine is on my 08 streetglide, and during the dyno tuning after the motor build the tuner bored another hole in the baffle, and it has that deep sound, although not obnoxious at all. i was also considering the d&d fatcat, the rinehart 2 into 1, and the new pro pipe with the stepped muffler body. the pro pipe won, so that's what i bought. i'm very happy with the quality first, it looks awesome, the power, which is really great for torque, and the sound. the price was about a hundred bucks higher than i spent on my rinehart slip ons. so, sound, power, quality, and looks is what won me over to the v&h pro pipe. besides it tucks closer to the trans so it doesn't burn the passengers ankle or mine.
