Default Touring Manual - 2008 vs 2010

Is there a big difference between the '08 and '10 service manual? I know they have difference frames, but just for basic stuff, will the '08 be sufficient?

TIA.

What'd ya do, trade in an 08 for a 10? Yes they are both TC96 engines with the same primary, TBW, etc..

I sold my 08 manual and bought 10 but wondered exactly the same thing. Key area of interest for me was the elec cct diagrams. I am a bit particular about working with drawings that are 100% correct so decided to bite the bullet

The 2010 manual has a completely redesigned binding, the pages are larger, and every 5th one is helical cut.

A lot of changes have been made to the bikes going from 2008 to 2010. I would expect the factory service manuals have changed too. As sgdiesel pointed out, the wiring is going to be considerably different. I would get new manuals if I were you.

Where do you purchase a service manual?
