As for the stick on mirrors in chrome I've never seen them in stores. Found a couple of places online though.

Hey.. thanks a lot for the link. I'll be ordering the ones from the second link. I have bought sets before with the chrome ring for cars I've had in the past so I knew they existed.

That truly sucks swamp water. Wally world used to have a blister card with two of 'em in the rv section. Crap, now y'all got me wondering.

A friend of mine (09 SG) has the wide view mirrors that HD dealers sell and he says that they vibrate more than stock, which makes them less usable. I have a feeling that anything heavier than the stock SG mirrors will vibrate more, unless the mounting is modified.

I used to have a '02 Fat Boy and everything was a blur in the mirrors... So, I am very happy with the stock SG mirrors.

Actually they do.
That's the whole point; keeping your eyes forward, and no one being able to sneak up on you.

+1. You shouldn't have to look over your shoulder. I think that at times it is a bad habit. It definitely can be...
If you're running tight as in a butt load of traffic, looking over your shoulder could cost you a bunch..
