Default Warranty is ready to expire

Warranty is about up. For those that have the extended warranty, was it worth it? My 08 king is just shy of her 10k visit.

Curious to hear your thoughts- thanks in advance for your input.

With the mileage you put on I would say it would not be worth it. Mine just went out of warranty a couple of months ago and I decided to buy 4 year extended. It had 60,000 plus on it at the time, and was actually in the shop getting some warranty work done for a noisy top end. I ride between 30 and 35,000 a year. Have already used mine for a fuel pump that went out since then.

Have you have any problems up to this point? Another thing to consider, do you plan on keeping this one or trading it in?

You will get a lot of different opinions on the ESP, mine included. My only advise is if You ride a lot, Get it. If You don't , don't get it.

For me it is worth it because I have racked up 25K miles on my 08 SG.

Like others said, for the miles you ride it wouldn't be worth it.

Harley wouldn't sell something that they lost money on...So I'd say it's safe to say most people never use it or don't use it for a high dollar repair.

Just save some money for future repairs.

DEVO, i have it on my 07 fxdc bought it when i bought the bike and it has paid for itself already but like mentioned above if you ride alot its pcs of mind to me with my 07 getting ready to turn 50,000 soon and i still have 2 more years of extended warranty and tire and wheel coverage and by my calculations it has paid for itself. I have had two tires replaced and you know about my fiasco with the bike cutting in and out that problem alone would have cost me more than the warranty has and i still have the coverage until 2012. If you don't put miles on your bike or you plan to trade in then i would say no but if you rack up the miles then i would say yes. By the way what kind of prices are you getting quoted locally to extend it? Many on here say you can shop around and buy from chicago or what ever and get the 20% discount online. That being said if you wanted to stay local you could look at hales in Mansfield see if you can buy it online from them at 20% off.
