Default PYO Monkey Bars on Street Glide

All, I just got a new Street Glide, and want to know if anyone else is around 6' and had some PYO Monkey Bars installed on their SG? Just wondering how the "fit" is. I'm used to my Street bob with mini apes, I like being a little stretched out, but don't want to defeat the "comfy" purpose of a bagger! -Chris

I don't have the Monkey bars but I do have 13" mini apes. I love em..... Much more comfortable than stock. IMHO

I would never put monkey bars on a bagger, it just isnt cool.

Yes I am 6-2 and love my MBB. The only regret I have is I didnt go with 14's instead of 12's

Hey Flight, did you regret not getting the 15's because of mirror visability, or just cause 6-2 is a little too tall for the shorter 12"? Are you able to see your mirrors from under your forearms like Fairplay can? I love the look, but still wanna make sure me and Mamma are safe. Thanks for the advice.

I didn't want to wait for monkey bar's so I went with Wild1's, 12.5. They are installed now but the cables didn't make it in time so I have to wait until Teusday now. I'm 6'6" and the view under the arms looks pretty good. I contemplated 14's but didn't want them that far over the fairing.

The 12 's are fine I just would like them to be 2 inches taller. I have no problem viewing the mirrors under may arms. If I didnt have so much money in these I would ditch them for 14's. With the heated grips and the PYO wire install Im 11 deep in them.

I too didn't want to wait for PYO Bars so got 16" Cyclesmith's instead. I love them and would have regretted anything shorter. I have mine pulled back a little because of the KW Flare shield. I also find them to be way more comfortable over stock and I like the ride of the bike better as well. You will not regret any ape you go with, be it PYO, CS or W1.

I had 13" Cyclesmith on my 05 EGC and now going to do the same to the 10. Just waiting for more money to build up.
