I have 12 inch Monkey Bars on my Street Glide. I went with regular mirrors. Very comfortable and I love the look. If I were to do it again, I think its worth that wait.

13" Cyclesmiths for me and love 'em. I can still use the original mirrors as well. I'm 6'3" tall.

i put mine on last week, actually started it 2 weeks ago and screwed up all my wires trying to internally wire the things...ended up taking the bars to hd dealer and having them wire the bars (after they had to order new clips and tbw) anyway, i'm 5'10 and i went with the 10" and changed to the badlander seat. love the bars, should've done the 12"s though.

Has anyone tried wiring using one of these for the throttle by wire?

You don't need the TBW extension. There's enough extra cable on the stock harness that you could install 16's if you route it below the radio.

What he says. You don't need the throttle by wire. I went with the namzb wires, +6 clutch and brake cables (harley diamond) with my W1 12.5" bars. You have pleanty of TBW wire so don't waste your money on this. I love the 12.5's and wonder what the 14's would have been like. I'm 5'9" and have a very comfortable reach now and with the extended parts I can always go a higher bar if I ever decide to change this out. You can't believe how much more comfortable these bars are compared to stock.

I had the 12" standard height installed recently on my 10 SG and love them!! Comfort level is bar none. I am 5'10" so you may wanna have urs custom fitted a little higher. I waited six weeks for mine but I can honestly say it was worth the wait.
