Wow!! That was fun. I got an excellent breakfast, got to meet Hunter's lovely and definitely better half and didn't have to do anything. Bike seems to be running like a champ. Only thing we could figure is maybe some bad gasoline. Of course there's always the possiblity that an electrical problem is lurking - or that something got wet. But for now I think you're good to go!

Well, at least now I know how to get Dave out here for a ride. This whole thing is still a total mystery to me. But the hard shake at idle is gone. Bike no longer wants to die at idle and now it sounds just like the same old Singer Sewing machine I have been listening to for the past year.

WTF..I know I wasn't imagining those symptoms.. Plus, I 'm pretty sure that I quit the hard drugs about 35 years ago. Anyway, it's still a mystery and I hate it when a mystery just solves itself.

So for now I guess I'm back on the road and will just ride the mother f*&#$er till it breaks and then fix it.

Thanks again for coming out this morning Dave. Sincerely appreciate it!! I'll definitely call you next time I imagine somthing is wrong with my bike.

if you just came from a run on the hwy bike might be a little lean and when you come down to a stop it may have needed to readjust in the ECU at least thats what a tech told me once caused my bike to seamed
rougher and noisier after a stop and restart all was normal again

Now that is funny. I had a box of mints in the windshield bad and only at a certain rpm I would hear this buzzzing-vibration. Took me a whole day to figure it out, felt like such a dumbass when I finally found it..
