Started to ride with a full face helmet on long trips. Upgraded my speakers but even with the volume at a good level the sound is distorted. Does anyone make a mod to install a Headphone jack for the HK Radio? Before anyone suggests buy an ipod, I have one hooked to my Drive and Play which plays through the system.

 

Check your local laws, riding with head phones or any type of ear piece is probably illegal. Not to mention dangerous. I prefer to hear whats going on around me in case I need to get the hell out of the way.

but I also just put an edsets system in my helmet and it sounds awesome, I don't see me really using earbuds much anymore

 

Thanks Guys.....but I must be missing something. It has been awhile since I had the fairing off, and it has beena long week.......where does this plug in? '07 SG so nothing fancy back there. I do not remember a 5 pin socket, not that I was looking for one at that time.

 

my bad, I have an ultra with a communication port for the intercom, your bike does not. You don't have a lot of options that I am aware of.
