Stage 1 setup- bang for the buck
Anybody have ideas on giving an 09 Streetglide a stage 1 setup. I really need to wake this bike up. Looking to get the most bang for the buck out of a stage 1 setup, air cleaner, tuner, slip-ons.
Currently I just have the stock setup with python slip-ons.
I was thinking about modifying the baffles on the pythons by shortening them up and just cutting out the flat part on the end of the inner part of the baffle to allow more air flow, but not lose all back pressure. Then a Ness Big Sucker and PC5.
Do you think there is a better setup?

I would say that's true..At least this is what I found by my "seat of pants" dyno. I had previously purchased but not installed Rinehart slip-ons, and the Ness A/C. I purchased the PC-V from Fuel Moto who programmed the PC-V based on the pipes and A/C, did the installation of the aformentioned with the help of a good buddy, one saturday morning and the SG had a whole lot of wake up and punch.. Very happy with the results!! Have cams to put in now, but that will probably have to wait until the fall or so....as I'm still happy with what I have..
