Default throttle

has anyone ever had this problem? my throttle got very hard seems all of a sudden. i washed the bike as usual, and that night the throttle almost seemed to be binding. any idea of what i could check, or should the dealer do this... thanks , it's an 03' road king classic with cruise.. 11,000 miles

Hmmmm. What model do you own? Have cruise control or thumbscrew? If it has the thumbscrew throttle lock, you might have spun it tighter with the spray from the hose and didn't realize it.
Other than that, check your cable routing. Rather odd!

Could be that there is a lack of lube in the cables. How old is the bike? Have the cables been lubed ever?

The water could have washed the last of the lubrication out.

I would say the bind is at criuse cable connection.

As stated above, make sure the thumb screw has not be accidently tightened. I seen this happen several times with friends.
