Default Oil,Oil,Oil

Sorry to start another oil thread BUT,

I've listened to you guys and I'm going to run Mobil 1 V twin in my '07 Road King.
Question is, this lube ok to run in my '02 Lowrider? I've heard about bearing skate etc.
Looking for some opinions

Bearing skate... Oil that's too slick.... Kind of doesn't make sense does it. Talk of a roller lifter that won't roll because the oil is too slick but then the hard face on the roller wears due to friction? Sounds like a contradiction to me. Somebody splain it to me.

Heard this years ago in regards to STP. As previously mentioned, if it`s so slippery the roller can`t roll then it`s not going to wear either. I just changed over myself. Glad I stopped at 3.5 qts. as it is at the full mark on `09 RG

Don't apologize for starting another oil thread. Mobil 1 is as good as any Synthetic oil out there. I've used it in my vehicles for years. I now use it in my 08 UC. I just put it in my wife's 2010 SG Trike 103 engine. Advance Auto was running a sale on it. If you want to save a couple of bucks, buy the 15W50 at Wally World for 23.00 5 qt container. It's not the V-twin, but is ok for Motorcycle engines. my 2cents
