hey enough talk, put them cams in there and pop a WHEELIE!
LOL.........I can bring the front tire off the ground now.

Once the snow flies and the salt is on the roads...........then I'll start taking things apart and having the work done. For now, I'll keep doing research, and start buying parts as I find deals on them.

You're crazy if you ride in tomorrow...........they are saying 1-3" of rain.

Break down and take the car...........give the bike the day off.

None of the Andrews cams match the Wild Things cams specs. I would highly doubt that Andrews would copy the Wild Things cams under their own name.......contracts and stuff like that.

The TC-2G and the HQ-0034G have very similar specs..........I just wish I knew better what all the specs meant when it comes to the power potential and location of the powerband.

Steve
You misunderstood me.........Andrews probably makes cams FOR Kuryakyn.....not copying anything. Andrews has been in the camshaft manufacturing business before Kuryakyn was a company. Kuryakyn is brand new to camshafts...they got their start making covers and doo-dads for Evolution models HD bikes. Crane and Andrews are two of the oldest manufacturers.
What you can do to compare cam measurement values is to use the HD Screamin' Eagle book.......look at their 203, 204, 211, 256, etc. and note the duration and lift values and the application notes. Then, compare the duration and lift values of those HD cams to the others, whether it is an Andrews, Crane, Kuryakyn, S&S, etc.

Log on to the Andrews website and you can see their description of where each cam makes the best power in the rpm range......it would be a good start for you. I didn't know much about gear drive until I did a search on this forum.....and researched the subject pretty hard.
