Default First Post - Looking for a Street Glide

Hello to all... Happy Memorial Day.....

Few years back I sold my 2003 Road king,,, Dyna Lowrider before that.. Its been a few years without a ride and getting the itch again....

Just starting my research - I understand there was a frame change to the SG in 2009.... Are there other changes over the years? I wouldnt mind getting an older model (06) and making some mods...

But if newer is much better then maybe that makes more sense to take one off the showroom... Maybe tax breaks, ABS, etc...

Thanks in advance...

So if I am going to change out wheels, pipes, seat, paint color and finally build the motor - then it boils down to rear fender, throttle and frame/suspention... Not sure that is worth 10k more..
