Default Light weight folding chair

I have need for a light weight camping chair. I have found the Kirby chair, but think it may be too low to the ground. They sell leg extensions, but am concerned the chair won't be steady with them on. Also found the PICO™ Folding Chair and wondered about that.

Can anyone comment on the Kirby chair and the Pico Flolding chair as far as quality, durability and storability on the tourpac rack?

I think that's called the "Kermit" chair.

I bought the kermit chairs 2 years ago and they are well built units. I strap them onto the railings of the saddlebags using the bags they come in. Takes only minutes to assemble for 2 chairs. We love them

Default Folding Chair

I picked the PICO folding chair for Rolling Thunder and it worked out very well. I can fit two of them in my tourpack or you can strap them to a luggage rack. Seem to be well made and have a cup holder and other pockets to hold stuff. I got mine from Hammacher Schlemmer just because that is where I first saw them. Others have found them cheaper from other locations.

You are so correct. Kirby is my neighbor and I guess the letters just came out. Sorry.

I have the Kermit chair. It fits in the bottom of my saddlebag, so I always carry it. It's well built and comfortable. Getting into it isn't a problem, but getting out could be if you're a drinker, or have back issues.
