Looks Nice.

I have debated doing this on my batwing but not sure about the ignition issues and getting all that put back together, just cant get the nerve to tackle it.

The ignition was a pain to get back in the right place but if you buy the tool then you should be fine. The other option is if you can get the dimensions of the tool and have a friend that does C&C work it should be simple to make. I will be either getting the tool or getting one made before I do one again.

Sweet! I have guy I work with that custom paints as hobby. He wants to do mine. I have a 2010 Vivid black RG custom. I think I really want to go with a carbonfiber look or soft padded vinyl look that matchs the pinstrips.

What shop do you work at in MD?

Let me know what you think. The nallace switches were the biggest b**ch of the whole thing I think other than being without my bike while I waited for my painter to paint the parts.

Looks great!! They really turn heads when people who know they don't come with painted inners look at it and ask about it or you catch them looking at it when you are coming out of a store and are trying to talk the other half into breaking loose of the $$$$ to get it done as well for theres.
Did mine as well 2 winter ago while doing my trailer. Had my brother do the paint for he does custom paint work and it was a snap for him, CHEAP also!!!!! (I am as well!!) Looks great again and you are now a proud owner of a self done painted inner!!!!
