Default Ultra Ultra or keep the sportster?

I have a dilemma and need advice> I have an Ultra and a sportster. Its great having two though i find the bagger much more fun. Question is, do I keep both OR sell the sportster and do what i have dreamed of for some time - put an S&S 106 upgrade and cams on the Ultra, maybe do something with the suspension too? The S&S stuff is expensive here, dollar price but in £ with 17.5% tax so it would take quite a while to put the money away otherwise. What's the wisdom of the crowd say?

How much do you actually ride the Sportster vs the Ultra? If you find the Sportster only comes out a few times a year, my thoughts are to send it to a new home and take the Ultra to the next level.

If you are riding the Sportster as much as the Ultra, and you are doing alot of riding that is condusive to the lighter, smaller bike - then you will miss it if you part ways with it.

My two cents worth.. or two pence worth.. whatever the case may be.

Hard choice. My Ultra is basically stock from an engine standpoint. I ride the Vrod when I feel the need for speed. Personally I like having two bikes.

keep both...

If you upgrade the Ultra..it is not going to handle like a sporty...or even feel like one.NEVER!

And you can have the Ultra for the long rides!

Keep both of them, I have a Sporster and a Street Glide. The Sporster is my bike of choice for running around town and the Glide is for when the wife wants to go.

2 bikes beats 1 bike every day of the week FOR ME !!!
That said, do what's best FOR YOU!
I've never understood some guys coming on here and asking someone else what's best for themselves ??? Or their opinion of color. Or their opinion of anything. It's my bike and my $$$.
I promise you, each and every one of you, I don't care if you like it, love it, or hate it, if it's mine, my opinion is all that matters.
Just sayin' !

I,am going the same thoughts at the moment as since i got my Ultra Limited ive not touched my 883R so thinking of selling it and with the £,s a few upgrades and a set of basic wheels off e bay for when the salt roads are with us over here in the UK.
However the wife is on nights next weekend so im going to have a few days on the sporty and that will help make my mind up.
