Talking Finally Got it!!

Well, I finally got my new bike, wow, she is a beauty. Much bigger than my Honda Shadow, but a sweet ride. Currently in Naples, Italy, I am going to be tearing the roads up in Europe before I leave next September to go back to Virginia (I hope). Did not realize how big those dang antennas were until I tried to put it in my Cycleshell cover, good thing they are flexy. Anyway, here is a photo.

As I'm sure you already know, Ultra's are pretty top heavy and it doesn't take much to tip it so be careful at slow speeds and especially when maneuvering it around with your legs. Ride safe and have fun!!!

I am sure a lot has changed in 35 years. The base is now only 5 years old, so you wouldn't recognize it. However, I think the roads are original to your time here....

She is heavy, I only rode her for 3/4 mile to my parking spot on base. I will say it is much more balanced than the Honda Shadow I moved up from. After I get the initial break in complete, I will go out on the MSF Range we have on base and do a lot of practicing out there. Thanks for the tip!!!

Mind your bare legs on the hot metal navy dude.

How do you like the riding round that area, the moped riders are mad! No actually even the car drivers are mad - their all mad!!

Be careful and enjoy

Nice, but I expect that even a swabbie will have realized that you need long pants due to the heat (& for safety).
