there is a Kuryakyn mount on top of the gas cap and a custom mount for the ipod on top of that. I'm a softail guy so some of this bagger stuff is almost a mystery to me. i am sure Shawn will chime in in a bit.

I was thinking about getting an IPod. Is there a reason it can't hook into the aux jack? I usually ask my 7 year old these technology type questions but he's in bed now

Just wondered if it had some custom jack that wouldn't fit the aux input. I know my cell phone's headphone out is like .5 mm too small.

You can hook it into the aux jack no problem.

That's where it goes in the aux jack. 3.5 plug, or a better set up is one that has a bottom jack rather than the headphone jack, like this;http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Hey guys, just in case some of you don't realize, but you don't have
any control over your Ipod/Iphone when hooked up to the bike ok?
At least on my 05' I don't. Not sure about the other stereo units.

What is pretty neat though is that if a call comes in on the Iphone while playing music, the music shuts down and I can actually hear the Iphone ringing in the windshield bag. Kind of can't miss any calls if you're waiting on something important.

Just sayin... lol

I forgot to mention that when you have the Ipod/Iphone jack wired off the back of the radio the unit charges while in use. D'oh! This was main reason for the mod.
