Touring Boot Suggestions? Tour Master Solution?

I use the Danner Fort Stewart boot with 200 grams of Thinsulate. They are much taller than the H-D boot but are very comfortable. My wife has Cruiserwork boots and likes them very much. I tried the Cruiserworks boots and found them to be very uncomfortable. The other probelm with Cruiseworks is that they don't use Gortex. They pound the waterproofing into the leather, and, while it works, they tell you not to pull the boot off by the heel as that will ruin the waterproofing.
As a matter of course, get waterproof boots. That eliminates having to put waterproof slip-ons over non-waterproof boots. Also, make sure that the boots are tall. Someone I know bought waterproof shoes that were not taller than regular shoes. He had a major problem with water coming into the shoe over the top.

I have worn the Solution boot for the past three years. I use them to commute to work and then wear them all day at my desk job, with my suit. Very comfortable, a little warm but not too bad. In particulay I like that they are water-resistant and have protection on the ankle and shin. They are more of a "sportbike" boot, IMO. I wear them with my Ducati that I commute on. (Parking isn't secure enough to ride the RKC to work.) I have the HD work boot style for riding my RKC. I like the thicker sole on them when riding the heavier bike and the thinner sole of the Solution for riding the pegs on the sport bike. Well worth the $100 or so price I see them at. YMMV. <Jim

I wear White's 'Smoke Jumpers' (10" lace-up). They are a bear to break-in, but are really comfortable once they are.
The boots are a little spendy, but they ware like iron and are rebuildable.
They came with Vibram lug soles, but now have a more civilized 'mini-vibram' soles.
I've been wearing the same pair for almost 15 years now.

I wore Chippewa Engineer boots for decades, and still do. A couple years ago I tried a pair of Chippewa Rally's and was very happy. They might be worth your consideration.
