I have Avons and though there is a small gap on the throttle side, it's barely noticeable. The left grip is dead on. I also had an issue with the PYO bars on the quality of the powdercoating. When I e-mailed him, his response to me was about the same. Not his problem and shame on me for putting them on. At the time my bike was down and I was two days away from a big ride so I put those bars on. Basically he wasn't interested in resolving the issue, just assigning blame. Last time I bought from that company. I have since had them re-powdercoated. Attached is a pic of Avons on the bars.

Hmm... I can't imagine that the Avon Contour grips are that much different than the ones you have Hogwyldpr? Wonder if my bars aren't just too long..

I believe the throttle side is just a little long...the space between mine is relatively small, maybe a quarter inch...

Get a dremel and slice a tad off the bars. Easiest and cheapest fix for this.

well to be completely honest, in my opinion that a BS response from Paul! I have Harley grips and I have a gap so whats the excuse for that? I mean come on... Its not the end of the world, but sooner or later his (Paul's) poor attitude and poor customer service is gonna cost him! Just my .02. And since I own his bars I feel as if I deserve a opinion!

I do agree with the above I have avon grips on wild one(chubby) bars and i have no gap like that.I also have a set on another bike that has stock bars. and they are far from a cheap set of grips.
sounds like paul yaffe has a snobby bad attitude to make up for his over priced bars

I think the fix would be a bandsaw on the ends of the bar

That comment from Paul friggin pisses me off.

Not impressed. I have bought my last part from the jackass. I'm passing the word too.
