I am considering the Tour Pak Quick Release for my 09 Electra Glide Classic. I would like an opinion from someone who has the same kit. Is it a pain to use with the antenna relocation, or is it really a "Quick Removal”? What do they provide to mount the license plate?

I put the "quick disconnect" on my 03 Ultra about 2 years ago. Some of the details are a little sketchy, but I know they do not give you anytbhing in the kit for the license plate. I looked at several options on what to do with the plate. The one I ended up going with was the bullet turn signal/ license plate combo like what you see on Street Glides. I think it is the pricier option but I liked the way it looked. As far as the quick disconnect points, they do work good.

 

just order mine tonight 4 point and bracket for tourpac i did not order kit because i already have lad down plate there a real good article on forum to make your own quick disconnect wireing harness which i will do to save another 79.00 inseat of harley kit dealer gave me 20%off so it was about 258.00

 

I put the 4 Point system on mine. I kept the License plate under the tail light when I put the Electra Glide Turn Signal Bar in place. I made a License Plate mount myself. The Quick mount is fast. It is faster to take off than put on. I first used the Antenna relocation kit. I moved the antenna far enough back to clear the Tour Pak. It just gets in the way when putting the Tour Pak on the back. I bought a Hidden Antenna and put it inside the Fairing. Now the only thing that I need to watch is the seat. I need to hold the Tour Pak flat to make sure the the front is inside the mount.
