Default TQ and HP 103

I just had a 103 Stage 4 installed and road 700 miles and had it tuned. Kit includes minor head work, 58mm T/B, V/H true duals Super tuner 259 cams. Dyno results are 106tq and 108 HP. I would of liked to see 12-14 tq. am I asking for to much? Or has my stealer burned me?

A 58mm T.B. sounds big with "minor head work".

I think your numbers are pretty close to being online with everyone else. Every dyno is going to be different depending on alot of factors we cant control. Plus I think that cam you got is a high rpm hp one. But I wouldnt be disappointed with those #'s. Dont worry you cant ride that sheet of paper.

If you had the dealer dyno tune it, you might not be getting the best tune job. I would find and indy who has a good reputation for tuning. I think 112 - 114 is obtainable.

ok but not super. Really tho' how much to you want to squeeze out of that engine? You could have used high compression pistons however I think you may be better off for the long haul keeping it the way it is. Also - remember it's not just about peak torque and peak horse power. The breadth of each curve is important too.

Those numbers are pretty close. My 103" has head work 10.0-1 comp.cams, and a/c.my head builder said that a bigger throttle body might not help at all so anyways im happy at 111 hp and 120 ft lb

dynojet numbers are +-10% error anyhow, so dont stress.

Take it to the 1/4 its the only dyno that counts.
