Default Trim on 07 Road Fairing coming off

The trim on my 07 road glide fairing is coming off. The glue that was used has become very sticky and the trim comes off real easy. Anybody else seen this?

You can do one of two things
1. Pull the trim off and leave it off. I did this and it looks good.
2. Pull it off and reinstall it with glue. Maybe it will hold, maybe not.

Mine came off several times even after the dealer tried to fix it.
I ended up using Loctite Super Glue.

Been there, the super glue works just use it sparingly so its easier to trim off when you need to. Mine started flapping in the wind a few years ago in the AZ heat, used rubbing alcohol then super glue. Never came loose again. Bought a new trim piece the other day for the front section of the dash and there is no glue from the factory on it.

I went to Autozone and bought a package of auto door edge trim (two 27" pieces) and tossed the HD trim. The edge trim looks better, and doesn't need glue to stay put. ~$7 fix, and works great!
