i know that the buell front mount is supposed to be a great alternative to the stock harley front mount. that's my next mod. my 08 sg doesn't vibrate bad at all, but any improvement is a plus. they're around thirty bucks too. there was a thread in here about the buell mount about 3 days ago.

there's a thread about this issue, and has a pretty good description of the use of the buell front mount. it's a thread started by streetrider and looks like a great alternative to the stock loose feeling mount that lets the motor shake all over the place on 08's and earlier models with the 3 point mounting system. it won't work on the 09's and earlier where they use the hockey puck design and 4 point mounting.

I installed the Glide Pro just because of the excessive vibration from the HD mount at idle. Smoothed it right out. I highly recommend it if excessive vibration is your problem.

The original OEM 79B mount on my 1988 FXRS-Sp is still good after 48k. I'm in the process of installing the Glide-Pro kit on my 2k1 FLHR. If all goes well, I'll put a Glide-Pro front mount on my Low Rider just to get ahead of a failure down the road.
