Famous flying quip, "Any landing you can walk away from is a good one...if you can reuse the airplane it's a bonus!" Same with bikes. Glad you weren't seriously hurt. That's the good news.

Glad your okay. I went fishtailing on some sand/gravel a few weeks ago. I was thinking my dirt bike skills didn't really help on the street but they saved my @ss on that one. Ride safe.

one of my rules of thumb when riding. Beware manholes are slick when wet or have ice on them and the same goes for railroad tracks. Always try to take them in a straight line if you have to cross them. Glad your okay, fix the bike and keep riding you'll soon forget the accident.
