Default Tried out a Boyesen X-Wing Today ,,Happy!

I installed a X-Wing today in my 09 Street Glide,, The SG only has for now a pair of the New Style Dyno Tuned JackPots,, the rest is stock,, Went for a 100 mile ride,,The bike ran a lot better seems to have a lot more pep going through the gears at ALL speeds,,I also have power below 2 gran, before the X-Wing below 2 gran it was time to down shift. Boyesen said that I have 30 days to try it out and if I did not like it I could get my money back,,,, Well its staying on the bike,,,

Next I'm going to try it with a set of Fatshotz slip-ons that I bought Friday,, I want to see if I can make more power and quite the bike down some,, I have heard that Fatshots make good power and are quite as stock,,,

The reasion I did not install the Fatshots is I knew how the SG ran with the JackPots so I wanted to see if the X-Wing helped with the pipes I was all ready runing..

thinking about trying this. snake oil? probably not. Eyvind Boyesen was a legit mechanical engineer, inventing many great products. If i gain 2 hp and better throttle response for 100 bucks then im happy. guys on here will drop 3 grand plus like nothing to gain 15 to 20 hp and then blow there bike up.

I also have the xwing and it made a difference. Boyeson is a great outfit and I recall some dyno backup a while back.
Really made a nice improvement on a hot rodded Dyna with a carb.

I also am running the Fatshot Supertrapps, they are nice and quiet with 20 discs and a closed end cap.

Every little thing to improve the motor efficiency helps.

I also run the magic Pulstar spark plugs and have for about 12k.

Maybe all the snake oil is what makes folks I ride with say damn that 88 inch motor runs HARD !! hahahhaha

I have a x-wing of an 09 Trike and an 85 Evo. Great improvement for both machines, plus it's made in PA.

Tried looking these up. Do they only fit up to 2009 models and nothing beyond?

I'd like to see one of you guys do an unbiased before and after if you ever get near a dyno. 'Butt' dyno's aren't very reliable. On a Stage I machine, I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if you's actually gained one or two horsepower.
