Default Saddlebag lid bra insall tricks

What is the trick to pulling the leather/vinyl lid protectors tight on the hard bags?

I have the Mustang ones and they're easy to slip over the lids. no clue about any of the others.

If your using the HD covers, do it when they are warm. Keep pulling at each one of the velcro locations one by one and eventually they look pretty smooth. I got tired of the process and got the Mustang covers. the HD covers are back in the box to be sold.

Please, someone explain to me the reason or use for saddlebag lid bras? I don't get it.

Good luck. I tried for several days with absolutely no luck. I tried putting them in the dryer and everything. I just couldn't get them to fit nice. I took them back and purchased a set from Ride-tek. They fit like a glove and it took me two minutes to put them on.

well this is my reason... I got a detachable solo luggage rack for my back fender, because I like to just bungee a duffle bag on the rack when I travel. but the nylon duffle would scratch the top of my saddlebags if I didn't use the covers. I only use them when I travel.

A buddy uses Lid Haulers, they have velcro straps to tie down a jacket or bag or something. They look pretty functional, I am going to give these a try.

http://www.ridetek.com/

I need to adjust my cases first though, the lids scrape the sides of the seat when opening as it is.
