....... well, i got mine (official HD w/little bar&shields embroidered on the back) cuz the salesman told me it was the quickest way to start 'blacking out' my bike...............is it workin' ? ......... He wouldn't've been kiddin', would he ?

............ oh well, at least i don't get boot marks on my lids anymore .
.... & as for getting them tight ? Put'm in the sun or dryer, stretch'm on while warm.
....... FYI: If you live in warm weather country & stretch'm real tight,..... they can pull the velcro tape off the inside of the bag lid.

 

man you were ripped off. the official HD blackout kit is p/n HD-blk4u and retails for $149.99. It consists of 17 rolls of black electrical tape and a pair of HD scissors (CAUTION: use of any other scissors other than the official HD scissors to install your black out kit will void the 30 minute warranty). FWIW I have one of the kits that I am not going to use, and would let it go for $99.99.
