+3, DAWG knows his sh#$!
True duals will always be less effective in promoting torque!
The reason being, 2 into 1, or anything with a tuned crossover pipe (stock exhaust), help evacuate spent exhaust gasses by utilizing the exhaust pulse from the previous stroke (scavenging). Kinda like a blower in reverse - a SUCKER.
The only reason the stock exhaust is usually swapped out for power gains, is because it restricts the exhaust flow. Although the mufflers are usually the biggest culprit by far. And now too the cat.
There is a happy medium between open flow and a useable amount of restriction though, and that is where "tuned" exhaust comes into play.
The reason why baggers especially prefer the 2 into 1,s is that they work most effectively in promoting torque, which is where we live in our powerband.
It's really as simple as that.
Of course with that being said, the difference true duals detract from torque is fairly negligible unless you're after that 1 - 3 more HP/TQ.
Ok - off my soapbox now. For those who made it this far, thanks for listening!

I intalled the true duals, the SEAC and the thundermax for TBW myself and I haven't had any problems. The first day it was popping a little bit when deceleration on third gear, but because of the autotune capability, it fixed itself. Yesterday I went on a ride with some friends and you should've seen this baby; doing 80mph had to catch up with one of the guys that passed me at 95 and blew him out of the water at 105. Can't complaint.
