Traded in my '02 Softail for an '08 Ultra Glide Classic. Had it about a month now and it took a bit getting used to the slightly higher CG (center of gravity) but really like the extra goodies; Radio, CD Player, Intercom, etc. and the passenger is enjoying it a lot, too.
Picked up a 2010 road King the end of May. First bike in about 20 years. Thought about getting a used sportster and decided I wouldn't be satisfied. Really enjoying the Road King. I have already put about 2000 miles on it. Have an 800 mile trip planned this weekend.
I picked up my 01 Electra standard late last fall. Wasn't what I was wanting. Thought I wanted a Heritage, Deluxe or maybe a Road King. My previous bike were all stripped down bikes. No frills, slammed down and big apes. Honestly I poked fun at buddies with their "wind-jammer" fairings, stereos and fancy do-dads. Then I test rode the EG. About 20 miles in on I thought to myself 'No wonder people ride these damn things everywhere!!!'. Never looked back!
Got an 08 Ultra Classic in April and I couldn't be happier (unless the bank calls and says to not make any more payments!). Makes the commute to and from work worthwhile. Especially the ride home at 11PM. I just cruise and most times I take the long way home...
Had sportbikes growing up. Thought a 48 sporty would help in the ease of riding dept. I then traded up from my '11 48 sporty to a '12 Street Glide.... Can't beat the rawness of power of the 48 but then again you can't beat the comfort the Street Glide....
Had a lot of Kawasaki's. ranging from a 2000 ZRX1100 to a 2008 zx10r
Bought my first Harley a 2012 Street Glide, everyone says you transition from the fast bikes to the Harley's eventually but I didn't think "eventually" would be 24 years old LOL
