My 2012 Road King classic is about three weeks old now, traded from a Heritage. Got 920 miles on it, planning on getting a few more chilly miles on it this weekend and getting it in for the 1K service and the recall next week.

 

Just got a smokin' deal on a well maintained 95 Electra Glide Ultra Classic and love it. Started with a 1200 Sporty then to 2 different Dynas and now the Electra Glide...love the ride and the tunes!!! Has Andrews cam kit on it...a must for the 1340 Evo.

 

Second time. Got my first in '07, latest in '12. RK and an EC respectively. As I slip into my twilight years of riding (50+ and mostly 2 up), appropriately set up EC will make you want to ride all day. Can do it nice and easy from hotels to hotels or friends etc. Or strap on the tent and sleeping bag and camp it up.
There has got to be a good reason for me to camp these days (been doing it since I was 13). Maybe the campsite in the turn at Bonneville would be worth a couple of day of camping.

 

I am about 6 weeks into my first touring harley... Came from a 2008 super glide custom...

Don't see myself ever going back from a touring bike...

 

Not my first bike, but my first HD. Last bike was a Honda 1100 ACE. Was off bikes (except for the occasional borrowed ride) for about 8 years. Purchased a 2007 RK Classic about 6 weeks ago. Been building ever since. If I dont slow down, I am gonna end up with an Ultra. Added hard bags, King Tour Pak, and working on saving up for a fairing. Sure am loving the ride of this big heavy bagger!

 

Me too, my first Tourer, although I didn't know at the time a RK is considered a Begger. Absolutely love it!

 

This is the first Touring HD I have owned. Over the years, I have rented several. And after a breakdown out of town, I had a buddy's Road King for about half a month.

But, first one I have owned.

 

Had my 2011 SG just over a month and 950 miles and I have to say that I don't really like it. I traded in a 04 Heritage and would go back in a minute, but I'm kinda biased, I had a lot of miles in that 04 saddle and this one just doesn't "feel" right. But, its mine now, so I'm making it comfortable, just costing me ever step of the way!
Like they say, the purchase price is just the down payment!!!

 

About a month into my first touring HD. Matter of fact, it's my very first HD . . . period.

 

Just bought a 2012 Ultra Limited about 3 weeks ago. Still keeping the 92 FXR too. Already have 1000 miles on it and it's been torn apart for 2 weeks swapping handle bars, installing 500W J&M stereo and now the seat is off to Mean City Cycles for heaters and memory foam.
