After 30 years of riding every other type bike out there I finally purchased my first Harley - a 2011 RKC. two months and 2,700 miles in I can't believe I waited this long!

Traded my Deluxe in on a Street Glide....its a different animal. I'm used to the counter balanced softail, so the rubber mounting system is going to take some getting used to, but as soon as I start modding, I know its going to be how it is supposed to be!

First bike new RK FLHP 103. I purchased it in March and put 12750 miles on it this summer. I had a deer run into me last week so I'm waiting to see if it gets totaled or fixed. If its totaledI have found a nice Street Glide that would look nice in my garage.

I have had my Road Glide Ultra about five weeks now. Pervious Harleys were sportsters and softails. I will say the RGU is the best handling big twin I have owned. I think it would have given my sportsters a run for their money. At least until the hard parts started gouging asphalt.

Not just my first tourer but my first Harley period. I've been a sport bike rider for years. Except for a 2 year stent of riding a Yamaha V-Max. In 2006 I gave up the sport bikes & bought a Suzuki M-109r. It was the most logical switch at the time. This past Aug. I drove from Knoxille TN to Dallas TX to buy my 2010 Harley Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Wow, I never new what comfort I was missing. Love my Harley though I do miss the power of the M-109. Comfort is key & the wife loves the ride as well.

Picked up a 2012 FLHTK a month ago today .. first HD touring bike, but not first touring bike. Two Royal Star Ventures (99 & 06), and a couple of sport-tourers (Concours and FJR) as well.

I noticed several othes mentioned moving to the HD from a Yamaha Royal Star Venture .. I did as well, but with one difference -- I'm keeping the 06 Venture. Too nice a bike, too much invested, it's paid for as well as all the goodies on it, and we'll use it as our tow bike for our camper (at least through next summer).
