I have a friend who has kind of the same decision, but between a BMW and Goldwing. Both bikes are priced about the same, the new BMW has a lot of improvements while the new Goldwing is pretty much the same after 10 years. He is looking more at the Goldwing ONLY because there is a Honda store in every town, there might be a BMW store in every state.

ive had several bike's but this is my first Harley and the only scoot's that harley make's that i like are the touring ones hahaha. so i went with an 06 road king classic and love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive had it for a couple of weeks and wish i would have went this way a long time ago........

 

First bagger for me, traded 04FatBoy with a stage2. Love the StreetGlide but wish I could have kept the FB also.

 

10th bike, 4th HD, 1st Touring. Loving the crap out of it.

 

1st Harley. Just purchased an '11 Road King Classic. Am enjoying the hell out of it. Using it to complement my '10 BMW GS Adventure.

 

I am waiting to get my 2012 FLHRC in 2 weeks! I'm very exited. Been waiting for over 3 months!!!!

 

I got my first one November of 2010...which totally sucked caues I had to just look at it till April. However 5,400 miles later I can say that I love my SG

 

just bought my first touring bike...New Road King, vivid black...and now...lots of chrome, lol!! very different from my 81 Low rider.
