60 days into my first Harley, an 02 Electra Glide classic. It is the bomb man. Got slip on's that make it sound like every motorcycle you ever imitated as a kid, vibrates like it's got real power at stop lights and looks like a chrome bulldozer with a jet engine on it. Harley's are in my garage for the rest of my life man.....

Rode Yamaha's and Honda's until I got a 1200 Sporty about 12 years ago. In 07 I had to have my dream, a Heritage. Last year a friend had me ride his Ultra about 280 miles to his part time home. The Next week I rode MY 2010 Ultra Classic down to say hello. He said he knew that as soon as I got home I'd dump the Heritage. While I still wish I had kept the heritage as a second bike, I'm in love with my Ultra......

Last year I fell in love with the 2010 Ultra Limited. It is an ultimate cruiser with an abundance of power. The issue is Money. The wife had to have a BMW and nothing less than a 335xi would do. I work in construction so nothing less than a 350 Crew Cab would do. Like I said I work in construction and times are hard. I have had Yamahas for a long time. Had a V-Star then grew into a Road Star. This year I was fortunate to have stumbled across a 2006 Ultra Classic with almost no miles on it that a nice lady was selling. It belonged to her Husband that passed away. I am now a Harley Owner and I get it. I have only owned the bike for a couple weeks and now understand what I have been missing. I have put over 400 miles on it when i can since it is still crappy here in NJ. The wife and I are already planning some long trips for the spring and summer. I ride when ever I can so last Saturday I took it to the dealer for the 5,000 mile check up. It was 22 degrees out when I left the house. Turned up the heated grips and off I went. Never would I have done that on the Yamaha. Fuel injection, Fairing, Heated grips. I just realized that I can ride year round now as long as there is no snow or Ice on the roads. We where born to ride, some of us realize it and do it others sit back and watch.
