Went from my beloved 2015 Fat Boy to my 2018 Road King. Loved both bikes. I about consider the Road King to be the ultimate Harley, at least for me. The bike is pretty heavy to horse around in a parking lot, but once I get it going it is just as maneuverable as the Fat Boy at slow speeds, and on the road it is a dream. Love the Road King!

 

Back to a bagger for me, albeit a switchback........the size of it or lack there of ,should be compelling.

 

Rode dual sports since my school days.
Bought my first HD (XL883L) when diesel hit $5 gal somewhere between '08 and '10. At the time it seemed huge weight wise.
Bought my first HD touring bike (2014 Ultra Limited) last Oct from a member on this forum. Being 60 this one IS huge.
Loving it and getting more comfortable with every ride.
Now planning to sell the sporty.

I have always kept my Touring Bikes for a long time. Barring any ill will by a cager, retired life should be enjoyable.

I'm new to touring models this year. I sold my 2009 Dyna back in March and picked up a 2009 Electra Glide Classic. No Regrets!

 

I just got my first touring bike last week. Traded my 2012 Fatboy Lo in for a 2012 Ultra Limited. Best decision I have made! I love it!

 

I too just started riding a touring bike, came from an 06 Heritage softail to an 2013 Electra Glide

 

My first. I traded in my 2013 1200C Sportster on it. I'm in love . I rode it from Mobile, AL to Cleveland Tennessee in a day. Explored the Cheohalla Skyway and Dragon's Tail the next day. Plush ride.

 

Here's my first Touring bike, a 2019 Barracuda Silver Road King.

Was on a 2008 Dyna Fat Bob prior (and I also currently have a 2016 BMW R1200 GS, which is reeeallly nice), and this Road King is quite a step up from the 96 Twin Cam Dyna.
