Who is riding Touring Harley for the first time?
#1491
I got mine a week ago
It is my first Harley and the first time I've ridden since I was 19 lol. I became disabled 10 years ago and couldn't drive, well 2 years ago I started driving again and wondered if I could take it a next step and try to ride a motorcycle. So I took a MSF course to make sure I could do it and passed! 2 weeks later I got my bike and love it. Kinda weird how it causes me more pain to drive a car than it does to ride a bike. So I'll be riding everywhere now, "honey you need milk? I'll go!" lol anyway I'm loving my Harley, it's given me my freedom back!

I picked up my first touring Harley in March, a 2008 Road King Classic. I've been an off/on rider for 35 years, with the past 10 being solid riding time.
I had one other Harley over 25 years ago; a Sporty (XL1100) which fit my younger backside nicely. Now that I'm older and a bit more 'spread out', I've found the perfect touring rig for me! Previously, my most comfortable rig had been a Honda Goldwing (GL1500). Now, it's my RKC! I've put about 9k on it since this past March and I've still got a few great rides left this season!

2008 flht- back in black
I just bought my FLHT Touring bike last fall. Its a 2007 Electra Glide with a few HOG add ons (floorboards and such), grip warmers and a quick connect passenger backrest and king tour pack.
I went from a 2008 XL1200 anniversary Sporty to my FLHT and man what a step up that was! My Sporty was tons of fun to ride, but was slowly destroying my back. Not to mention that the pillion seat was WAY too small for the Mrs. to use. I originally was looking at getting a Road King, but ran across this beauty with only 12000 km's on it and instantly fell in love. The bike was bought new pretty much stripped down and I get the new AquaticAV head unit and speakers later today. Install this weekend with a couple gauge pod tweeters and new 6.5" fairing speakers and off we go! Cant wait!
