Just got a 2014 Street Glide and love the **** out of it! I've never owned a Harley before and can't stop either riding it or cleaning it.

Bought a 2007 Electra Glide Classic June 5th 2016. could only put about 3200 miles on it due to work schedule. Added Bt 2180 amp, Titan II 7.1 speakers in Fairing, and BT 6.5 in new lowers. Took out stock Hu and installed JVC -KD-R97MBS marine radio with USB front plug in. Music sounds great at 70 MPH. Howard air horns, lights in tour pak and 59 caddy tail lights under tour pack, (all led) except rear brake light, Red led lights in lower speakers for extra turn signals. Having the reduced reach seat redone with memory foam. Added Tmax tuner and love the ride and power so far. Found a lot of good tips on this forum. Still have my 1952 chopper Shovel upper and pan lower in the garage. My before and after pictures.

I bought my first 2010 Harley Street Glide almost a year ago. My very first bike was a 1980 Honda Night Hawk. I was 19 riding on a permit. No riding experience or instruction. A car pulled in front of me. I hit him and totaled my bike. I couldn't afford to get another bike until I was 35. I went with a used Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. I put 25K miles on that and traded it in on a 2005 Honda VTX 1800R1 brand new. I put 85K miles on that and finally went with what I always wanted my current Street Glide. I bought the SG in IL with 16K miles. I live in NJ. I flew out and rode her home. Current mileage 33K and counting.

I bought my 2013 RKC two months ago. This is my first HD Tourer, moved up from a 2006 Honda Shadow 750. 1100 miles over 4 weekend rides and local commuting and it just keeps getting better.

Default First Harley

I bought my 16 Street Glide last year. It now has about 9200 miles on it. She is my first Harley and I bought it new. It was an amazing upgrade from my 2007 Honda VTX 1300r, which I still own. It has been a fantastic bike.

Congrats, nice bike!

Suggestion #1 is buy a Service manual. Worth every cent and you will use it. This site has a wealth of knowledge, the search feature will get you to topics where you have questions

I bought my first Harley in March. 2012 Street Glide. Previously I had a Kawasaki ZX10R, but I'm almost 30 and those just weren't for me anymore! I absolutely love the comfort, stereo, look, and feeling of being on these bikes. Actually, all of my buddies are now trying to buy one as well!
