Traded my 12 Switchback on a 16 Road Glide. I'm really enjoying it so far!

Picked up a 2012 Road Glide Ultra a few weeks ago. I still have my Cross Bones but find I mostly ride the Glide. Lot to be said for a fairing. storage and stereo. The wife is really happy on the back for times she doesn't want to ride her own.

Recently purchased my first HD and it was a Touring model, 17' SGS. And I have to say, I understand now! From purchase to ride, I absolutely love this bike.

Just got my 2017 Road Glide Special after having had my Night Train for 10yrs. Love the comfort and the performance compared to the Softail.

I've had numerous Harley's, mostly Softails....some stock some very custom. I inherited my Uncles 72 FLH that he put almost 400k miles on it after he passed away in a plane crash 15 years ago. Redid that bike and will never sell it but was missing a comfortable bike to go on long rides with the wife. So I just bought a 06 EGS with only 5,500 miles on it. Must say, it's a blast to drive and comfort beyond what I thought could happen on a bike. Very happy.

3 weeks into my '16 flhxs and super stoked on it. Still getting used to the weight up top. Went from a street bike, to comfort. Now i have to hide the wallet! Want to upgrade this, and that, and so much. Recently put new CD led lights on front and rear, and now wanting stage 1 with intake exhaust and tuner. Just put the wallet away and enjoy the damn bike I keep telling myself.

2016 Street Glide Special :-) Denim Black.

Default Sketchy start but love my 2016 Road King

This is my third Harley. First one was my SSgt promotion gift to myself, 2000 Sportster Hugger. Second one was my TSgt promotion gift to myself (althoughit was 4 yrs late (LOL). On Dec 29 2015 I picked up my 2016 Road King, had them install the Priemium 11" shock, the HD lowed front end and solo seat and two days later I got on it for the first time to take it home...oh ****! I could barely touch the ground with my toes!!!!! I road the bike home, thought I was going to die, road it to work the next day same feeling. Parked the bike for two weeks and waited for some I Arnott 11" air shocks to come. Now I ride every day 15,000 miles now. Im so glad I didt test ride a touring bike before I spent the money...I might have three Sportster right now instead of two! Im going to try and get some lower profile tires when I need to buy some. Im 5'4" tall, so let your short friends know, it can be done!
