Who is riding Touring Harley for the first time?

My first bike, and I go for a Road King. Learned to ride with my mothers honda rebel 450. My dad got rid of that (mom did ride it anyway) and bought a new ultra. I now had use of his 93 customized fxr. He sold that and moved to Fl. Didn't sell it to me. 13-14 years later I bought my bike. Still getting used to the weight. Now just waiting on new tires. Slow corners still take a little getting used to. Might have to try the rear brake trick. If I wasn't going to have the wife on the bike, I would have bought a wide glide or the breakout.

Well, I only started riding motorcycles in 2012 after having had a Scooter for some two years prior to that. Bought my FLD in spring 2015 and with it learned handling a heavier motorcycle in the Swiss mountains. With that training, handling my RGU, which I only got end of April 2016, is not an issue I have to say. But it sure doesn't hurt either that I practically grew up on a bicycle. The principle is the same, really...
I currently can't picture every riding anything else than a Harley and, for more than just a bar hop, not using a Tourer. At some point I'll probably end up with a CVO RGU but for now my FLTRU rules!! And so does my passenger think as well. Perfect combo, I would say.

First Harley Tourer after 40+ years of riding. Totally different bike from anything else. Have ridden just about everything else.
Honda's, Yamaha's, Kawasaki's, Triumph's, BSA and even a HD Sprint. Had to ride my best friends Road Glide to carry his ashes in a funeral procession.
