I picked up my first Harley 2 weeks again. A Road Glide 2015. I have to tell you , I just came off a 2014 Gold wing , I sold it 6 mo ago. Now I have to say this is a new world for me . AND I'AM LIKING IT. As someone said to me at the store, A starter bike ? well after spending $3000.00 more on and ons i understand what he said

 

Bought a new Road Glide Special June 20th, it is a major step-up from the softail Breakout. I'm still grinning ear to ear everytime I get off it. I'm still sitting and staring at it all the time while at home with the girlfriend always hollering with (What are you doing out there)

 

Yep, been riding non-Harley's for 35+ years, wife decided its time to try riding 2-up. Ended up with 2015 Ultra Classic (brought it home Sunday during record hot temperature of 110) - puts off a little more heat than the liquid cooled models I've had! 30 miles on it now and wife & I thinking we are going to enjoy it.

 

Congrats on your new bike! I went from a Goldwing to a Harley touring bike in '09. I've since put on 70,000km (about 42,000miles), with only a front wheel bearing needing replacement (as far as unscheduled work that needed to be done). I still love riding that bike and still get caught going into the garage to admire it. If you do any of your own maintenance you will find it a lot easier to work on than a Goldwing and I find it's easier to keep the finish looking brand new. Fun, Fun, Fun

I just picked up a fully decked out 2014 Blackened Cayenne Sunglo SGS yesterday. I went from a Nightster to this. Night and day difference and just getting used to the weight of the bike and maneuvering it (once stopped of course). The guy who owned it was a Boeing engineer and no detail was spared w/ this bike. The only thing I would add is extended bags and maybe agitator wheels. Aside from that it's beyond what a CVO would have. Quite ridiculous actually. LOVE the bike and couldn't be happier.

 

raod my first harley a few weeks ago, 2005 road king custom. sweet ride, has losts of pull. different thAN my ninja. i am looking forward to riding and working on this haRLEY.

 

I have drove bikes since 1989. Bought my first Harley years ago. Just traded in my 2003 FXSTB NightTrain 12 days ago for a 2015 Street Glide Special. Already crossed 2000km. I had no idea what I was missing with the touring class. Such a dream to drive!

 

I just bought my 1st touring on 6/25/15. Gotta 15RK. Just moved up from a Heritage.
