Just bought my first tourer at the beginning of August. A '04 FLHTCUI EFI. Really looking forward to spring so I can take some road trips with the wife.
Just got my first Harley tourer this past weekend, purchase a 1988 FLHTC. I love the oldies, I restored a 76 Sportster XLCH two years ago but thought I needed something bigger to fit my large butt.
First Harley for me: Picked up an 08 Ultra Classic a couple months back with 2000 miles on it. Like brand new. Coming off a 98 Intruder L/C. Big difference. Had some goodies on it. Just added Tallboys floorboard brackets and V-twin goodies spacers. Helped me with a bit of hip cramping. So far so good!
Moved on up from a 2012 Deluxe to a 2015 Street Glide Special in Denim Black! I just can't even believe the difference in the ride. I just hope the weather holds out for another couple months.

Same here. I came from a 2013 Deluxe to a new 2014 SGS. The difference is amazing and just as I start to miss my Deluxe, I hop on my SGS and I remember why I made the switch. However, I will say that the engine on my Deluxe was smooth. The SGS has the typical Harley shake and I also hear every engine noise as reflecting off of the flaring.
Made the move today to a 2015 Street Glide Special. I loved the nostalgic look of my Deluxe, but there is no comparison in the ride and handling. My new Street Glide Special is a blast to ride. I just hope the weather holds up for a couple more months.
Some 30 years ago I sold my Kawasaki KDX 175, that was the last bike I rode until July of this year. I picked up my first street bike, a Limited. So far so good. The wife and I have racked up 3500 since we got it. Love it.
