Default Screwed up cut ABS sensor cable

After getting chrome calipers and Magnum lines and cables my black ABS sensor cable really stuck out. Looked for an option of better looking cable but found none. I bought a cable cover kit and cut the ABS cable to install it. Stupid mistake, now I have a glowing red ABS light. I mistakenly thought that I could solder the wires back togeter and everything would be good but no dice. The cable looks good though.

Buy a new speed sensor for $95 and install a chrome braided hose cover sleeve over it. In order to cover it you would need to take the pins out of the connector that plugs in behind the batwing. HERE is some on ebay. You can get it plenty of other places as well

Thanks Dawg. Removing the pins was my original plan but I couldn't get them out of the connector. Is there some secret to it. I have done it on other connectors with no problems but that one is a bear.
