I totally understand where you're coming from.

I've had this sign mounted over my bed since I was 13 years old.

 

I agree that anytime you are doing anything in the shop. I had to go to the ER when I was 14. I was changing out the brake pads on my old RM125 dirtbike and got brake dust in there. The had to roll the eye lid back and clean it out. scratched the cornea. Had blurred vision for about a week.

 

My wife came out into the garage the other day and caught me grinding without glasses. Chewed me out good! I, too, was doing a quick job and didn't even think to grab them.
