Swapping head unit..disconnect battery or just the maxi-fuse
Swapping out HK head unit with an aftermarket unit....should i disconnect the battery or just pull the maxi-fuse.

The Maxi fuse is enough. All power going to the fairing area is fed thru the maxi fuse.

You can never go wrong by disconnecting the battery.

What's so difficult about disconnecting the battery? an extra 10 mins could save you a whole heap of trouble.
