I've had this seat since my Road Glide was new and I have been very, very happy with it.
HD Signature Seriens Solo Touring Seat w/Rider's Backrest
And, Signature Series Touring Passenger Pillion
I did more than 10K on this seat last year. Of that, two trips were more than 2K. Wife did one 2K trip and was able to ride up to 150 miles or so between fuel breaks. She was happy with the seat. The beauty of the seat for me is, I can pull that passenger pillion off in about 5 minutes. I ride around about 95% of the time on just the solo seat.

mustang smooth touring
#1- get a backrest for yourself, that's why your back hurts.
#2- mustang touring is really nice on the rear, but does sit you a bit more forward than the stock seat. I've gone 500 miles on that seat and my butt is ready for more (man that sounds bad.) I only have 1000 miles on it so break in wasn't bad at all.
#3- read number one again.
