I have an 07 Ultra with 33,000 miles on it and the stock seat. I've put 1500 miles on the bike since buying it used. The only problem i'm having is getting a little butt burn after 40 or 50 miles. Is there a seat that will stop this? I was thinking about having MCC mod my seat, but then I'll be without a seat while it is being done. Is this the way to go or do you guys have a better idea?

My wife is happy with the stock passenger seat, but I need to do something about my section of the seat.

If the MCC mod is the way to go, where is the best place to get a seat to use while mine is being modded?

Definitely go with the MCC mod. They can add memory foam or double decker it if you have the leg length. I had my 07 ultra done right from the get go and it is awesome. I have rode an exhasting 22hrs on the bike( stopping for gas etc.) and my butt was fine. I had them do my new 2010 seat. While you have it modded you can buy a seat on ebay then sell it back. That is what I did. Go for it, you won't be sorry!!

 

I have a HD Sundowner seat, very good condition, $ 200.00 shipped...
If it would fit my 2010 Road Glide I would keep it....
