Default Don't laugh ..sissy bar pad ??

Ok, here goes.
I bought a Mustang sissy bar pad and the thing has no mounting holes when viewed from behind. It has velcro at the bottom and only way I can figure to mount it would be opening the velcro and sliding the bar onto the back where there are the usual three bolt holes. Kinda of weird so if any of you guys done this before can you please confirm install method?
Again, it's a Mustang sissy bar pad (p/n 79072) going on a detachable standard height bar for a '08 FLHTC.

Sorry ...had to ask ...

Did it come with mounting screws? Does it have an indentation for the sissy bar?

No mounting screws or bracket ( I assume you reuse the originals), has indentations but inside the cover not outside. I'll take a couple of pics today when I get back maybe it'll "explain" it beter.
Someone has to have installed one of these before.

Thanks

Sounds about right, it's simply a pocket to slip over the sissybar. I've used the same kind of thing on my FXR for 24 years. Mustang has an instruction page on their web site, & contact for support if you can't find it there.
